Fellows
Fellows of the British Pharmacological Society are self-nominated members who have demonstrated distinction and peer recognition in pharmacology.
They have made, and may continue to make, substantial contributions to the disciplines of pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and therapeutics. They may do this through their work, publication and presentation of research, leadership, and contribution to the BPS and its members.
Members who have been voting members for at least five years, and who are endorsed by two existing fellows, can apply for Fellowship.
Honorary Fellows
Honorary Fellows are elected for life by the British Pharmacological Society in recognition of sustained excellence and leadership in science, healthcare, and public service.
The Honorary Fellowship includes Nobel Laureates, international prize-winners, long-standing members of the Society, and those who have advanced the disciplines of pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and therapeutics through research, leadership and contribution to the British Pharmacological Society.
Full members and Fellows of any kind can nominate Honorary Fellows.
