Meeting and event grants

As a member you can apply for up to £2,500 to help you organise independent meetings, events and symposia. Your event can be on a range of topics and in a variety of locations.

Eligibility

To be eligible your event will need to:

• be relevant to pharmacology
• have at least one member involved in the planning
• benefit members
• make concessions for members, for example reduced registration fees
• complement our our calendar of events
• apply by the relevant deadline (typically six months in advance)

You should also consider:

• securing funding from other sources
• how your event furthers our charitable objectives
• potential output for our journals
• when your event will take place

Successful applicants will need to recognise the contribution the Society makes by:

• displaying our logo
• naming us as a supporter of the event or a named lecture

We will advertise the event on the website. We may ask you to write a short article about your event.

We assess applications three times a year. Deadlines for submitting grant applications are 31 January, 31 May and 30 September.
