This meeting brings together researchers with interests in cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system from Ireland, UK, Europe and America. The speakers are carrying out cutting edge research on the pharmacology of cannabinoids and their importance under physiological and pathophysiological conditions.
There will be talks chosen from the submitted abstracts as well as poster sessions. This meeting will offer bursaries for young scientists and networking opportunities for all. We are arranging an exciting social programme to fit with our location, right at the centre of Dublin, Ireland.

The deadline for applications for member bursaries has now passed. A small number of additional bursaries are available to early career non-BPS members who are presenting a short oral communication or poster at the meeting. If you wish to be considered for a bursary, please email email@example.com with your full name and the title of your abstract after submitting your abstract.

takes place at the Trinity College Long Room. There will be an opportunity to see the Book of Kells in the Old Library Building.

The Conference Banquet, Friday 19 April 2013
takes place at The Round Room at The Mansion House, located in the heart of Dublin City, just a short walk from Trinity College.
The Round Room was built in 1821 for the much-anticipated visit of King George IV. For nearly 200 years the Round Room has continued making history and has been the venue of choice for historic events in Irish History – such as the proclamation of The Irish Declaration of Independence.
Tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased for £60. Please contact the BPS office if you would like to book a ticket.
Additional optional social event - not included in registration fee
As part of your online registration, you can also book a place for a self-guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse to take place after the close of the conference on Saturday 20 April (audio tours in French, German, Spanish or Italian are included in the admission fee). Your visit would begin with an introduction by the Storehouse staff prior to taking your own tour of the facility. Admission (payable on the day at the Storehouse via cash or credit card) is €16.50 for adults or €13 for students/concessions. Delegates should select this option under agenda items when registering for the conference if they wish to take a tour on 20 April. If you book a place but are no longer able to take a tour, please contact the BPS office. The Storehouse is approximately a 20 minute walk from the conference venue, and is also accessible via public transport.
The online registration period for bookings through the independent online booking system has now ended.
