The BPS Winter Meeting is held annually and attracts around 800 scientists each year, mostly from the UK but also many from across Europe and from overseas. The meeting includes a selection of topical symposia, plenary lectures, free oral communications and poster sessions which cover the many aspects of pharmacology from basic to clinical science.
The BPS Winter Meeting, London 2012 is being held at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 December.

The Grade II listed Assembly Hall was built in 1939, to the design of world-renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker, it is one of the most stunning Westminster conference rooms available. The polished English oak panelling and heraldic emblem sit beneath a 30-foot glass dome, surrounded by 32 gilded angels. Located off Parliament Square, Church House Conference Centre is directly opposite the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre.
