(BPS Young Pharmacologists at the Winter Meeting, London, December 2011)
The young pharmacologists group, which is a core part of the BPS, includes around 1000 undergraduates, postgraduates, and recent graduates from 13 countries around the world and has an influential role in the every day running of the Society.
Young pharmacologists are normally defined as those in any class of membership who are not more than five years post PhD or medical qualification.
The Young Pharmacologists Advisory Group, which is chaired by Professor Tim Warner, coordinates a number of projects to raise the profile of pharmacology by involving the Society’s younger members.
We organize a number of projects including networking events, symposia, and poster prizes for undergraduates.
If you have any questions or comments or would like to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact the BPS Office.
